Prepared for Rexor Engineering, Sunshine North. September 2026.
Rexor already has the workshop. We'd like to help fill it with the right customers.
Twenty years, a fibre laser, cut and fold under one roof. You've said you want more businesses coming through the door, and fewer one-off jobs. We spent some time on rexor.com.au the way a new customer would, and we think there's a straightforward way to get there. This page is what we noticed and what we'd do about it, so the conversation is easy when we sit down.
What we noticed
Small things, but each one is a customer you didn't get to meet.
The Call Us button dials a placeholder. Both call buttons on the homepage point to +123-456-789, the template default. Anyone tapping it from a phone gets nothing, and most trades and engineers tap rather than type.
The social icons go to the website builder, not to Rexor. Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in the footer all link to Wix's own accounts. A procurement person notices that before they send a drawing.
Drawings wait in an inbox. Your whole pitch is fast quoting, and it's true once someone opens the email. But a DXF that lands at 9pm, or while the team is on the floor, sits there. The customer doesn't know it arrived or when to expect a price, so they send it to the next shop as well.
A quote that doesn't become a job just disappears. Nobody follows up, and nobody can see which businesses quoted three times and never ordered, or ordered once and went quiet. Each of those is a relationship already half built.
Businesses and individuals come through the same door. A hobbyist wanting one bracket and an HVAC installer who'll need brackets every month land in the same inbox with the same priority. Nothing on the site or in the process tells them apart, so the ones you want most get the same treatment as the ones you don't.
What it could look like
None of this changes how your team cuts or quotes. It sits in front of that and behind it.
- Every drawing gets an answer in minutes. The customer hears back straight away that it arrived and when they'll have a price. The details are pulled out and put in front of your team ready to quote. If a quote sits, it gets chased. If a customer goes quiet after a price, they get a friendly follow-up. You always know what's open. Fast quoting becomes something they experience, not something the website claims.
- One-off jobs become accounts. Every business that quotes is remembered: what they asked for, what they ordered, when they're likely to need more. Each week you get a short list of who's worth a call and why, written so it's a two-minute job.
- Warm introductions to the businesses you actually want. Signage shops, shopfitters, HVAC and electrical installers, machinery builders, product companies needing enclosures, builders with recurring bracket and plate work. We find them, learn what they make, and open the door so the first conversation is already warm.
- The website leaks get fixed in the first week. Real phone number, real social links, a short quote form that asks for file, material, thickness and quantity up front, and a line saying how fast you respond.
How we'd work together
- One person. Ricky is your point of contact for all of it. Anything digital that comes up in the business, you send it to him and Alex builds it.
- Your drawings and customer details stay yours. Norai's systems run on our own hardware in Australia, not on a public AI service. Nothing you send is shared or used to train anything.
- We make sure you never do anything twice. Whatever your team finds itself doing the same way every week, we take off their hands.
- We'd rather grow with you than sell to you. Start with the piece that's hurting most, see it work, then decide what's next.
What we'd do first
Rebuild rexor.com.au properly. A real quote form with file upload, every page fixed and rewritten, fast on a phone, set up to rank on Google for laser cutting in Melbourne. We host it and look after it, so you never touch the site again: send us what you want changed and it's done. At ninety days we sit down and look at what it brought in, and decide what's next. Fixed prices are on the pricing page.
Let's start with a conversation.
Ricky will come by the workshop for thirty minutes. Not to sell anything: to understand how quotes come in, where your best work comes from, and what's getting in the way. Bring a recent quote that went nowhere and we'll walk through what would have happened differently.
